Become a Friend of Mona Vale Surf Life Saving Club
Support your local surf life saving club and join as a Friend of MVSLSC. Relax from 4.30pm each Friday afternoon in the upstairs bar enjoying the best views in town over Mona Vale beach. There are beers on tap, a selection of premium beers and wines and a BBQ held on the 3rd Friday each month. From the first weekend in November, the bar will also be open on a Sunday afternoon from 3pm.
You are welcome to join us for a drink, or become a Friend of MVSLSC. Your $30 joining fee will help keep your local community safe on the beach. You will be supporting your local Surf Life Saving Club and it’s volunteer life savers who patrol the beach every weekend from September until April. Funds raised are invested in member training courses, equipment supply and our Nippers program. Friends of MVSLSC receive:
- Fortnightly newsletter to keep up-to-date with the club’s latest news, sponsors and activities
- Surf club keyring
- $10 welcome drink voucher per season
- 10% off venue hire for one event per year. Our venue space is perfect for weddings, birthday celebrations or corporate events.

Friends of MVSLSC | Frequently Asked Questions
To become a Friend of MVSLSC you will need to complete the registration form (either online or at the bar), provide photo ID and pay an annual joining fee of $30.00 (valid from October to October each year). Your $10 bar credit will be available immediately.
Yes! Becoming a Friend of Mona Vale SLSC will help us invest in resources to maintain and improve our club.
We have over 200 patrolling members qualified in many different areas including first aid, beach rescue and resuscitation. Our members are constantly improving their skills by achieving more qualifications ranging from advanced training to member welfare and mental health. We continuously update our training and rescue equipment to be able to provide the best possible service to our community.
We also have over 400 children in our Nippers program who learn surf skills. Many, many of these nippers will grow up to be future life savers.
As a Friend of MVSLSC our insurance cover does not allow this, however if you join Mona Vale Surf Life Saving Club you are welcome to. Please review our membership options.
