Notice of AGM

The 100th Annual General Meeting of Mona Vale Surf Life Saving Club will be held at Mona Vale SLSC on Saturday the 2nd of September 2022 at 2pm.

  1. Attendance and Apologies
  2. Welcome to guests and life members
  3. Confirmation of the Minutes of the 98th Annual General Meeting (Minutes were reviewed by the Executive Committee and are available through the website and will be available at the AGM).
  4. Adoption of the 99th Annual Report 
  5. Adoption of Financial Statements for the 2020/21 Season (full copies of the audited accounts will be available for inspection at the meeting. An extract is given in the Annual Report).
  6. Notice of Motion: Moved by Paula Tocquer and seconded by Dave Morton that affiliation be sought for the 2021/22 season with Surf Life Saving Sydney Northern Beaches, Surf Life Saving New South Wales, and Surf Life Saving Australia. Further, that the articles, constitution, by-laws, regulations, and resolutions, together with the awards and equipment of Surf Life Saving Australia Limited and/or affiliated state/ territory centres and/or Branches, be accepted without reservation.
  7. Notice of Motion: Position of Beach Captain be re named to Club Captain
    Moved by Jon Dibbs and seconded by Ryan Sinclair
  8. Notice of Motion: New position Vice Club Captain be created – Non executive position with direction and oversight of the Vice President of Lifesaving. 
    Vice Club Captain shall be responsible for efficiency of patrols, responsible for log books and to make sure lifesaving equipment is available and in working order for patrols.  Shall assist the Vice President of Lifesaving and in the absence of the Vice President of Lifesaving shall have like powers and authority pertaining to life saving issues.
